As the Vice of loan originations at iBorrow, Lucas Allen works closely with borrowers to develop and structure loans based on their needs and objectives, with a focus on originating CRE bridge loans that conform to iBorrow’s standards and requirements. Lucas is tenacious when it comes to reeling in prospects, pricing deals based on the market and area, and identifying appropriate borrowers based on iBorrow’s core requirements. With substantial prior knowledge of the private lending world, Lucas formerly was director of sales with Rodeo Capital, Inc., a nationwide private lending company. He also holds a California real estate brokerage and a mortgage license. Lucas earned his B.A. in International Studies at UC Santa Barbara, and is a member of the Los Angeles Mortgage Association.

As Controller for iBorrow, Kehvon Thomas oversees all accounting and loan servicing functions. Prior to joining iBorrow, Kehvon was an accountant at Unisource Companies, where he performed intercompany accounting for more than 10 title and escrow entities. He was also a freelance consultant where he assisted companies with monthly reporting of financial and marketing analytics, as well as invoicing, intercompany transactions and account reconciliations.

As an Investment Associate, Jeanna Sterman is responsible for coordinating loan originations and underwriting and managing closings, and plays an integral role in guiding investors and funds through deal terms and diligence materials relating to each loan. Jeanna has several years of experience in the real estate industry, and is well-versed in underwriting transactions and managing the closing process. Her attention to detail, coupled with her communication skills, makes her a great asset to investors and borrowers.

As Vice President of Loan Originations, Ryan Kurth has spent his career gaining valuable and diverse experience across the country. He most recently spent his time at Wells Fargo, where he originated close to $1 billion in commercial real estate loans and helped launch a new business initiative at the bank—a startup homebuilder banking group in San Francisco. He has also spent time in Los Angeles working for Wells Fargo’s Real Estate Merchant Bank, involved with over $5 billion of distressed note acquisitions, mezzanine financing and equity investments.

As Vice President of Loan Originations, Jeremy Michaelson works closely with the firm’s borrowers to develop and structure commercial real estate bridge loans, as well as ensures that each loan is specifically tailored to meet borrowers’ needs and objectives. With several years of experience in the real estate industry – from underwriting and closing multi-million-dollar transactions to project development and property management – Jeremy understands the market and is able to price deals accordingly, while identifying appropriate borrowers.

As Assistant Controller, Hector Portillo is responsible for implementing and managing iBorrow’s accounting processes and policies, as well as overseeing iBorrow's financial reporting and record keeping. Prior to joining iBorrow, Hector served as a fixed assets staff accountant at Ticketmaster, where he determined the treatment of fixed assets and performed general ledger account reconciliations. He also previously worked at Curacao in the accounts receivable department, processing financial transactions.
