Brian Good, CEO


As the CEO of iBorrow, former real estate lawyer, real estate owner and adept businessman, Brian has a vast array of knowledge in the commercial real estate sector, specifically structuring complex deals. Borrowers and investors alike turn to Brian because of his ability to underwrite deals quickly while adhering to a high standard of ethics and due diligence. Not only is Brian well-positioned in understanding every aspect of the deal process – including what is vital and what isn’t – but he goes beyond the numbers by taking a comprehensive and strategic approach to each deal.

Brian first founded Eagle Group, LLC in 2001, as a fully-integrated real estate company that handles all aspects of commercial real estate including finance, loan servicing, management and advisory services. In 2012, Brian branched off to create iBorrow (formerly Eagle Group Finance), a dedicated lender specializing in private loans for commercial properties in the Western U.S.

Prior to iBorrow, Brian was a real estate transactional attorney at the law firms of TroyGould and Kulik, Gottesman & Mouton, where he represented real estate investment trusts, publicly traded real estate companies and high-net-worth individuals. He also served as President and Board Member of TenantDirect.com, the developer of the first web-based property management software system for the real estate industry.

Brian earned his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara and his J.D. from Loyola Law School. He also has an MBA from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business.

Brian is a licensed California real estate broker and a member of the State Bar of California. He has taught multiple courses at UCLA Extension, and currently serves as Vice President of the Guardians, Board Member of the Southern California Golf Association Foundation and Member of the Real Estate Council of the Federation.

Andrew Peltz, Co-Executive Chairman


Andy has a wealth of experience in finance and investments, as well as an in-depth knowledge of capital markets. He brings his corporate finance and capital markets expertise together to develop and foster strategic relationships for institutional investors as fund sources for iBorrow.

With a background firmly rooted in investing and capital formation, Andy’s strengths lie in connecting investors with borrowers – identifying high-yield loans for investors, determining various loan structures for borrowers, structuring and formulating loans, and executing the deals.

Prior to iBorrow, Andy co-founded Peltz Capital Management, an alternative investment management firm based in New York, and worked at Triarc Companies, Inc., where he served as Vice President of Investment Services and as Associate of Corporate Development. Andy was responsible for the day-to-day oversight of Triarc’s $650 million-plus investment portfolio, as well as Trian’s Corporate Development team, where he worked on the $1.5 billion sale of Snapple to Cadbury Schweppes.  

Prior to Triarc, Andy was Senior Investment Banker at Credit Agricole Lazard Financial Products Bank, which is a joint venture between Lazard Freres & Co. and Credit Agricole, specializing in structured finance transactions. Andy also served as a marketing associate for Lazard Asset Management, a division of Lazard Freres & Co., where he marketed their vast array of fixed income, equity and alternative investment products.

Andy received his B.F.A from New York University. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of RMR Industrials, Inc., a holding company for industrial mineral businesses in the U.S.

Harlan Peltz, Co-Executive Chairman


Harlan Peltz is a founder and co-Executive Chairman of iBorrow. Harlan is known for his in-depth knowledge and expertise in capital markets, equity markets and capital allocation. With a background in private asset management, Harlan works closely with the entire iBorrow team to craft lending structures that meet the needs of borrowers and investors but his primary focus is identifying marketplace opportunities and developing strategies to capitalize on them.

Prior to iBorrow, Harlan co-founded Peltz Capital Management, an alternative investment management firm based in New York.  At Peltz Capital Management, Harlan focused on thematic and opportunistic investments across multiple asset classes, both private and public. Harlan followed closely the 2008 financial crisis and developed investment ideas designed to benefit from and hedge the financial crisis, including ideas which were foundational to the launching of iBorrow. Harlan saw an opportunity in the wake of the crisis to capitalize on the unmet needs of borrowers’ to access capital markets and of investors to find responsible ways to generate secure yield.  The underserved needs of borrowers and investors in the post-crisis era helped to shape the formation, structure and direction of iBorrow.

In 1994, Harlan founded YouthStream Media Networks, Inc., a leading media, marketing services and retail company targeted for the high school and college marketplace. He served as the company’s CEO from January 1995 until June 2000, and as a chairman until 2003.

Harlan received his B.A. from Haverford College, and holds an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.


Lucas Allen, Director of Loan Originations


As the director of loan originations at iBorrow, Lucas works closely with borrowers to develop and structure loans based on their needs and objectives, with a focus on originating CRE bridge loans that conform to iBorrow’s standards and requirements.

Lucas is tenacious when it comes to reeling in prospects, pricing deals based on the market and area, and identifying appropriate borrowers based on iBorrow’s core requirements.

With substantial prior knowledge of the private lending world, Lucas formerly was director of sales with Rodeo Capital, Inc., a nationwide private lending company. He also holds a California real estate brokerage and a mortgage license. 

Lucas earned his B.A. in International Studies at UC Santa Barbara, and is a member of the Los Angeles Mortgage Association.


Will McCabe, V.P. Loan Origination


Will is responsible for participating in loan underwriting and coordinating the loan syndication process. A fundamental aspect of Will’s position is investor relations, a role which requires him to work to help investors understand the deal terms and diligence materials relating to each loan.

Will’s thoroughness ensures that loans are in compliance with iBorrow’s procedural guidelines and applicable regulations and laws. His strong interpersonal and analytical skills are an asset to investors and borrowers alike in understanding and explaining the values of loan collateral.

Prior to joining iBorrow, Will held a position in a hospitality-oriented real estate development firm, selecting sites for real estate projects. He also has a widespread knowledge in leasing and rental rates in various markets across the country.

Will earned his B.S. in Business Administration and Management as well as a B.A. in Philosophy at Boston College. While at Boston College, he also participated in the Jenks Leadership Program. He is a volunteer with Safe Place for Youth and is an active member of Boston College’s alumni community.

Jeremy Michaelson, Vice President of Originations


Jeremy Michaelson is Vice President of Originations at iBorrow. Working closely with the firm’s borrowers to develop and structure CRE bridge loans, Jeremy ensures that each loan is specifically tailored to meet borrowers’ needs and objectives. He understands the market and is able to price deals accordingly, while identifying appropriate borrowers.

He has several years of experience in the real estate industry, from underwriting and closing multi-million-dollar transactions to project development and property management. Jeremy was formerly the Director of Loan Origination at Post Investment Group | Park West Financial, where he originated, underwrote and closed more than $10M in residential bridge loans. He also worked at George Smith Partners as Assistant Vice President, where he closed more than $100M in real estate transactions.

Jeremy is a graduate of Northeastern University, D’Amore-McKim School of Business where he obtained his Bachelor’s of Science in Finance & Entrepreneurship. He is also a junior member of The Guardians of the Jewish Home.

Jeanna Sterman, Investment Associate


As an Investment Associate, Jeanna is responsible for coordinating the loan origination, and underwriting and managing the closing. Jeanna plays an integral role in guiding investors and funds through deal terms and diligence materials relating to each loan.

Jeanna has several years of experience in the real estate industry, and is well-versed in underwriting transactions and managing the closing process. Her attention to detail, coupled with her communication skills is a great asset to investors and borrowers.

Prior to joining iBorrow, Jeanna served as an agent assistant at John Aaroe Group where she sourced transactions and managed closing processes. She also previously worked at Coldwell Banker, assisting with document preparation, purchase offers and disclosures.

Jeanna earned her Bachelors of Arts in Economics at Boston University.

Kehvon Thomas, Assistant Controller


Kehvon Thomas serves as Assistant Controller at iBorrow and oversees all accounting and loan servicing functions.

Prior to joining iBorrow, Kehvon was an accountant at Unisource Companies where he performed intercompany accounting for more than 10 title and escrow entities. He was also a freelance consultant where he assisted companies with monthly reporting of financial and marketing analytics, as well as invoicing, intercompany transactions and account reconciliations.

Kehvon earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston University.
